Neuroscience for Business, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
MIT Sloan School of Management’s Neuroscience for Business is an exploration of the brain-body connection, accessing intuition, and thinking creatively. As a leader, it is important to be aware of your natural thinking preferences and the pathways within your brain that are underdeveloped. Neuroscience for Business draws on principles and tools that can be used to promote personal resilience, leadership development, and business performance. This program focuses on practical applications of the latest brain research to build emotionally intelligent leaders who can effectively adapt to change and drive innovation.
Leadership Agility Certificate Program, Cornell University
Cornell’s Leadership Agility is education and training for leading in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world. It leverages concepts first used by the U.S. Military for preparing their leaders to understand and counteract VUCA-world impacts. The concept has subsequently taken root in emerging ideas for strategic leadership that apply to a wide range of organizations, from corporations to non-profits. This program explores the internal strengths and strategic skills needed to lead with agility.
Executive Presence Certificate Program, Cornell University
A program for developing the powerful and persuasive presence of a leader, with an emphasis on effective communication even in the most intimidating circumstances. Instruction, exercises, and performance evaluations are based on insights from the core skills and tools of theatre performance. The main focus of the training involves speaking, connection, and motivational skills when engaging an audience.
Mental Fitness Coaching Program, Positive Intelligence

International Keynote Speaker Vinh Giang’s course on the foundations of public speaking and powerful communication. STAGE Academy is a comprehensive toolkit that includes vocal mastery, storytelling and body language for all forms of communication: online, in-person, one-to-one, and one-to-many. Some applications of the skills trained: pitching ideas, public speaking, building rapport, inspirational leadership.
People School, The Science of People
A twelve-part science-based advanced interpersonal skills training program and competency exam. Subjects include charisma, body language, capturing attention, decoding people, building trust, being engaging, mastering conversion, increasing influence, and strengthening connections.
Core Improv Training Program, The Improv Centre
Development of the skills of improvisation, creativity, and collaboration through improv comedy theatre performance training. This core program included the four components of spontaneity, character, environment, and story. As a method of personal development, improv training builds presence, the ability to “think on your feet”, freedom from fear of failure, and the courage to step into tension.
Foundation of Meisner, Meisner International
Acting instruction by New York City-based teacher, director, and actor Steven Ditmyer. Despite the specialized nature of acting training - I have found there to be many practical benefits for personal development. Acting training deepens emotional intelligence, the ability to take risks, presence, and listening skills. It also builds the power to “get out of your head” and really connect with what you know, without the head chatter that interferes with your best performance.
Conflict Resolution Certificate Program, Justice Institute of BC
In-depth, comprehensive experiential training and competency assessment in conflict resolution skills. This program teaches the foundations of collaborative conflict resolution with a focus on self-awareness in conflict. Experiential learning and theoretical concepts are balanced to enhance understanding of the dynamics of interest-based negotiation and mediation.

It is a deep, cohort-based program covering subjects such as the strategic leadership mindset, emotional intelligence, influence, leading change, unbiased decision making, and developing innovative ideas.
